Can I insure rental products when I travel against theft or loss?Updated 4 days ago
We understand that traveling with rental products — such as strollers, car seats, or travel beds — may raise concerns about theft or loss, especially when using transportation like planes or trains. Here's what you need to know:
Parently does not offer insurance for lost or stolen products, including during travel.
If a product is lost or damaged by a transportation provider (e.g. airline or train company), you must file a claim directly with the travel provider.
We also recommend checking with your household insurance provider, as some home insurance policies may cover theft or loss during travel.
What Parently does provide is damage protection for all rented products. This covers repairable damages and normal wear and tear — but not loss or theft.
